Modern Solutions That Can Make Eating and Smiling Wonderful Again

Have you ever been taken with a smile? There is no question that healthy, attractive teeth are or of our strongest personal assets. No matter what dental problems you may have developed over the years, modern dentistry has a solution for you.

In fact, the more concerns you may now have, the more you will enjoy and appreciate a new smile. Making these life-improving changes helping people enjoy smiling and expressing themselves with confidence is the reason Dr. Crowe has studied and trained for so many years.

  • Regeneration and maintenance procedures
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic). Both gum and bone loss associated with periodontal disease can be predictably regenerated.

  • Implants
Dental Implants have been one of the most important developments in the history of dentistry. Fresh open palate, strong natural bite, no bulky unnatural plastic irritating sensitive gum tissue are just a few advantages dental implants offer.

A gentle surgical procedure is performed to place the dental implant. Fortunately there is no pain during implant surgery, Unlike natural teeth, dental implants do not have sensitive nerves. After surgery mild pain medication is all that is needed.

Bone thickness is important. Fortunately most people have sufficient bone or it can be created with GTR or guided tissue regeneration.

The benefits are wide ranging from improved appearance and self confidence to a whole new feeling of well being and renewed enjoyment of life's simple pleasures.

Implant patients can regain bite force and can once again eat the healthy foods they have been missing. Apples, corn on the cob, and fresh vegetables are back on the menu ... even steak!

The scientific evidence is in, and dental implants are safely and effectively replacing the missing teeth and bone that were once lost after extractions.

If you have loss of teeth, or loss of bone associated with long term denture wear, dental implants probably have important advantages for you.
